Location
Nusa Ceningan is the smallest of the three “Nusa” islands southeast of Bali. It is located between the islands of Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Penida.
The trio of islands is only a short fast-boat ride from Sanur, Bali or ferry from Padang Bai. Although they have not been exposed to the tourism boom or been developed as quickly as Bali, all three islands are now much sought after by those wishing to escape the buzz of Bali for a more peaceful island and beach life – and so development is in full swing.
Currently access from Nusa Lembongan is via the famous yellow suspension bridge which is only for pedestrians and motorbikes – so the island itself to date has been almost car free! However, the government plans to build a second bridge to allow cars and small trucks on the island. Still unspoiled, the island offers good surf, tropical trees, birds, and breathtaking views of the impossibly blue, clear sea that stretch for miles and miles.
The Site itself is situated on the southeastern corner of the island of Nusa Ceningan and faces out to sea and across to the forested hills of Nusa Penida.
